Obituary for Alexander Robert Bourgeau
Alexander Robert Bourgeau passed away at his home in Brandon, Florida the second week of February, 2025. He was 49 years old. Alex was born in West Branch, Michigan on September 11, 1975 to David and Connie Bourgeau, and moved with his family to Naples, Florida in 1987. He attended St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic School, and graduated from St. John Neumann High School with the class of 1993. Alex loved sports, especially enjoyed football season, and knew and loved to talk with family and friends about almost every sport statistic there was to know. He was a gifted athlete growing up, excelling in baseball and basketball, and was a proud and devoted, life-long fan of the Detroit Lions, Detroit Tigers, and the Michigan Wolverines. Alex was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes at age 15, and it impacted his life in many difficult ways. He is free of the pain and suffering now, and with his Heavenly Father. He leaves behind the people who loved and cared for him: his mother Connie Bourgeau of Naples, his sister Jennifer and husband Timothy Thomas of Valrico, Florida, his brother David and wife Monica of Portland, Oregon; sons Sergeant Shane Bourgeau stationed with the US Army in Germany, and Sabastain Kazzee of Ronda, North Carolina; nieces Em, Hannah, and Eliza Bourgeau of Portland, Oregon, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved him beyond measure. He was preceded in death by his dear father, David Bourgeau Jr., in February of 2024. The family would like to extend their thanks to Mark Vargo of Southern Funeral Care in Riverview, Florida for his respectful handling of arrangements for Alex, and to all the family and friends who have reached out with phone calls, text messages, cards, flowers, and prayers. Rest in peace, dear Alex. You were loved and will be forever in our hearts. A private graveside service will take place at Palm Royale Cemetery in Naples, Florida at a later date. Ana Lucia Morini, age 78, of Riverview Florida passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. Lucia was born in Itagui, Medellin, Colombia on September 23, 1946, the daughter of Antonio Jaramillo and Margarita Ramirez. She worked many years in manufacturing assembly line and packaging in Colombia and at the BigY supermarket in CT as a bagger. Lucia was preceded by her loving husband, Bruno Morini. She is survived by daughter, Beatriz E. Webb of Riverview, FL; brothers, Julio Jaramillo and Juan Jaramillo; sisters, Cecilia Gonzalez, Gloria Jaramillo, Julia Jaramillo and Irene Hidalgo; and many nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to attend a time of visitation on Saturday morning April 26, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Southern Funeral Care, 10510 Riverview Drive, Riverview, Florida.
