Audrey Jones Williams, 82, of Brandon, Florida, passed away on March 1, 2025. Audrey was born in 1942 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Okle Williams Jones and the late Lloyd E. Jones, Jr. Audrey spent her childhood in Jacksonville and attended Riverside Baptist Church. Audrey graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Jacksonville, Florida and then went on to The University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education. She later attended The University of South Florida where she earned a Master of Arts degree in Education. Audrey met Daniel J. Williams at The University of Florida and they married in 1963 in Jacksonville, Florida. Audrey and Daniel remained married until his passing in 2018. Audrey spent her entire career as an educator primarily in Hillsborough County, Florida and retired from Burns Middle School. Audrey and Daniel both loved the Florida Gators and spent many weekends at The Swamp watching football. They also enjoyed a trip to Arizona in January 2007 to watch their beloved Gators win the college football National Championship. They enjoyed traveling in their RV and attending Gator football games around the Southeastern Conference and longer trips across North America. Audrey was an avid reader and enjoyed keeping track of her daily reading streak and total books completed on her e-reader. She also enjoyed making jewelry for her family and friends. Audrey and her daughters and granddaughters enjoyed spending time together at Walt Disney World as local passholders. Audrey enjoyed an annual visit to attend the Candlelight Processional at Epcot to celebrate the Christmas season through music and a retelling of the Biblical Christmas story. Audrey joined First Baptist Church, Brandon, Florida in 1973 and remained a member until her death. She maintained a wide circle of close friends from her church and enjoyed many social gatherings through the decades with them. Those social gatherings included everything from New Year’s Eve parties in their younger years to Friday night dominos gatherings in more recent years. These get togethers were a highlight of her week and brought her much joy and laughter. Audrey is survived by her three daughters, Okle (Richard) Miller, Elizabeth Williams, and Kimberly (Kevin) Jahn. She is also survived by her brother Lloyd E. Jones III and her granddaughter Audrey Rowan Miller. She was preceded in death by her sister Okle Jones, her brother Benjamin Jones, her sister-in-law Susan (Lloyd) Jones, and her granddaughter Lauren Elizabeth Phillips. Visitation will take place at 10:00am on Friday, March 14, 2025 at First Baptist Church, Brandon, Florida with a memorial service to follow at 11:00am. Private interment will follow at Bloomingdale Community Cemetery, Valrico, Florida. Memorial donations in Audrey’s memory may be directed to First Baptist Church, Brandon, Florida.

Godwin, Ebba Andersen, of Tampa, FL, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2025 after a wonderfully full life at the age of 92. Born in New London, Connecticut on February 20, 1933, Ebba's family moved to Tampa in 1944. In 1949 Ebba married her high school sweetheart and began a long career as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Ebba retired from Hillsborough County Schools after a 25 year career as a bookkeeper serving the students and administration of Oak Grove Middle School. She loved her large, extended family and meeting with friends and co-workers for lively conversation. Ebba was preceded in death be her husband, Hale Godwin, Jr. and her brothers, Paul and Carl Andersen. She is survived by her children, Karen Godwin Snyder, Jan Godwin Fulghum, Loren Godwin, and her two brothers, Dennis and Chris Andersen. Ebba was a grandmother to seven and great-grandmother to seven. Ebba will be remembered for her love of family, great conversation, and her faith. In lieu of flowers, hug your family and keep them close. As she wished, a small service will be held for her immediate family.

Ana Lucia Morini, age 78, of Riverview Florida passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. Lucia was born in Itagui, Medellin, Colombia on September 23, 1946, the daughter of Antonio Jaramillo and Margarita Ramirez. She worked many years in manufacturing assembly line and packaging in Colombia and at the BigY supermarket in CT as a bagger. Lucia was preceded by her loving husband, Bruno Morini. She is survived by daughter, Beatriz E. Webb of Riverview, FL; brothers, Julio Jaramillo and Juan Jaramillo; sisters, Cecilia Gonzalez, Gloria Jaramillo, Julia Jaramillo and Irene Hidalgo; and many nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to attend a time of visitation on Saturday morning April 26, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Southern Funeral Care, 10510 Riverview Drive, Riverview, Florida. Cynthia Dumas Fuentes, 66, of Riverview, FL, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025. A native of Detroit, MI, she had resided here most of her lifetime and was a 1976 graduate of Brandon High School. She is survived by her sons, Josh Fuentes and John Fuentes; daughter, Taylor Fuentes and 7 grandchildren. Services are scheduled for a later date.
